Dear Sir /Madam,
I
am a photojournalist based in
Taiwan and currently working
full time for a Taiwan based
magazine called Rhythms Monthly.
The magazine is interested to
compile a story on Camel Jockeys
in UAE and how this young
jockeys are tricked into the
country and force to work on the
trade.
According to my information
there are no more child jockeys
around as even the UAE law has
now forbade the practice.
However as I looked at your
website I am wondering whether
the phenomenon still exist and
whether you have people there on
the ground that could assist my
colleague and I to do a story on
the subject.
We are a non profit magazine
that focuses on environment,
culture and social issues as
well. Our magazine is sponsored
by a Buddhist NGO which is the
largest in Taiwan and among the
most renown International NGOs
for its charity works.
You could see more about the
magazine by logging in to the
website
www.rhythmsmonthly.com
As the reporter and I will be
leaving Taiwan on the 16th of
January I would appreciate if you
could get back to me as soon as you
can.
The reporter and i could stay in UAE
all the necessary time to put
together the story provide we do
find some local help in contacting
and getting access to places and
people.
I am looking forward to hear from
you
Best Regards
Albert Buzzola
