We are three independent film makers
from Germany, Sebastian and
Christian, and Nida from India. we
consult your excellent page since
years.
We are planning
to do a documentary about the Dubai
fassade and down side. we spoke to a
lot of workers on our preparation
trip to Dubai in November. Since,
there are slums outside the labor
camps, filled with illegal workers,
who are not allowed to leave the
country. Nevertheless, it seems
difficult for us to find the places
we would like to have in our film.
Do you guys
have recent information about camps
and situations? illegal activities?
or are some of you based in Dubai?
we understand that the site is
managed from India. it would be
great to meet you on our trip to
Dubai end of April - beginning of

I beg to say that from last 3 years I am in
Dubai. I am a Post Graduate (MBA) & worked
in a bank in Dubai. but 9 months back not
internationally by mistake I helped someone &
I didn't know that was a fraud person. The
Dubai police arrested me. it was a very
small crime not big. Then from July to sep I
was in jail. I put appeal & I got bail in
September. from July to till date I don't
have any job.
I don't know how I manage my expenses.
sometimes I don't have money to eat
food. they don't transfer me case to
the court its still in investigation
from last 8 months. I don't know
when my case will finish. Here I am
alone nobody here to help me. I
can't able to do something due to
Dubai rule. Nobody here to guide me.
I am totally hope less & help less.
please for God sake guide me please.
what I do. where I go. I want to go
back to India. please help me out.

I was in Dubai Jail with a 8
year sentence 1986, I was
completely set up by the police.
I am part English and part
Irish. Whilst there I witnessed
a Young British got who was
serving a 2 week sentence
brutally kicked into a coma and
eventually DIE.
I
have the names of the policemen.
The British Embassy knew of this
and helped cover it up. I have
many stories to tell. I met some
nice Indians and Pakistanis
whilst in the prison. I would
love to hear from any one who
might have been there and
remember me.

When I first came to Dubai I had actually left Iran, and with due cause
stayed in the mosque attached to the other side of terminal one for over
thirty days, I picked up a clear plastic bag from the top of the
municipality garbage can which contained three very old model Nokia
